The cut was bad but not in a terrible spot. Who knows what would have happened.

It's cool either way because I think it sets up a bigger fight with masvidal vs covington when covington ends Marty fakenewsman.

im not a fan of covington, but he is the best welterweight in the world.

hes like a quicker diaz brother on steroids with world class wrestling. phenomenal fighter.

Knockouts don’t always mean powerful, usman is a very powerful wrestler

They’re both very powerful wrestlers, they are both volume strikers. They are clones of each other which makes this fight so interesting

I dont think usman will out wrestle or out strike covington. Worst case their wrestling cancels out and it's a standup fight. I think his only chance is a lucky knockout from a wild swing. Covington does get hit but hasn't been knocked out yet. Usman has the power to knock people out but it really hasn't translated. That's my take anyway. I think he gets dominated and worn down by the 3rd round and either tko or submitted.

I like both guys also. I was a fan of usman all the way back to ultimate fighter and knew he was capable of being a champ.
