gonna end without his drink as soon as he stepped off the scale

I didn't notice that the first time, just re-watched it.
I don't think I've ever seen anyone hold up a stare down to a drink before. Looks like his stomach was twitching/cramping.

the first guy on the scales drinks immediately a lot of the time, but i can't recall the 2nd one doing it and holding up the staredown like that. he could have at least acted like he needed to put on sweatpants and have his coach pour it in his mouth. Dana looked like he was getting annoyed.

The jordan-kongo staredown was almost comical. Kongo is this huge scary looking black dude acting pissed and Jordan looks short as frick and is just smiling. Hope Shawn gets this W.

also, Daniel Cormier is fighting Tim Sylvia in Strikeforce next. RIP Timmy. And Cormier said if Cain wins the HW belt, then he (Cormier) will drop to 205 to fight Jones. I'd LOVE to see that.

and it makes sense because it's at least 90-120 seconds before the dude even gets off the scales.

Man I wish they would get over this shite. Cormier would probably be a better fit at 205 though.

It's like everyone is friends. It's one thing for Cain-Cormier because they are training partners but this bullshite that Bones and Silva don't want to fight is just stupid.

I see the rant is discussing MMA.

bump for fight day

How Kongo only weighs 235 I will never know. He has to be like 3% body fat.

Watching DVRed ESPN MMA Live. Pat Miletich said he is excited for Jordan-Kongo. "A lot of people don't know about Jordan but he was an LSU running back. All-american running back when they won 2 national titles. The guy was a state champion high jumper at 275 lbs. Ran a 4.4 forty. Can do backflips. This guy's a freak."

I hope I'm wrong, but I think Kongo knocks him out. Jordan's standup is nothing to talk about.

Don't know what happened but Big Timmay is not signing with Strikeforce and will not be fighting Cormier.

Cormier shouldn't have to waste his time fighting Timmmyy. His next fight should be either JDS or JJ.

Anyone betting on the fights tonight?

I think Boetsch looks good at +280.

Jordan and Kongo are even at -115, may have to take Kongo.
