We cant expect him to be the gomi of pride. He's had over 40 fights. He's not as explosive but still has that brutal KO in both hands. Same with Kid Yamamoto. If only these dudes were in the UFC when they were younger.
i dont think anyone is arguing that they wouldn't have been really good in the UFC in their prime

Just WOW, I hate to see Joe go out like that but big Ups to Pettis
Posted on 2/25/12 at 9:22 pm to OryGunDucks
I know Pettis wants his shot but only way I see him getting it right now is as an injury replacement.

someone get this kid a title fight

This is gonna be a good fight.... If Hioki wins, he gets Aldo.

Hioki is one of my fave fighters i hope he wins this. Hioki is nasty hopefully he can live up to it.

I don't know who to pick in this fight. Bart palawhatever is damn strong on his feet but Hioki is a very solid all round athlete. I think if it stays on the feet Bart will take it.

Actually, this was perfect timing for Pettis. There is no one else good that is available. The next shot should go to the Diaz-Miller winner, but they don't fight til May. So that beautiful KO puts him in perfect position.

If Henderson wins they'd want Pettis Henderson rematch. Edgar Pettis would also be a very fun fight to watch. I didn't know the Diaz Miller fight was all the way into May

Incredible transitions..... Vintage Hioki

I never would have thought Hioki would be dominating this much. This is incredible.
