There's 2 ways to look at it.
Sonnen seemed to do everything he could, beating up on Silva and STILL couldn't finish him off.
Who's to say if they fought again, Sonnen would magically figure out how to finish him off?

I give Silva all the credit in the world for pulling that off. Everyone including him thought his arse was grass when he was on the bottom again in the 5th round. Just giving credit where it is due. Sonnen really dominated him that entire fight. I don't see Anderson beating him if they fight again.

I knew that if Sonnen didn't get him in the first after dropping him. He would either get knocked out or submitted.

a rematch would either be Sonnen dominating in this same way for 5 rounds OR Silva beating him really quick...

people are tired of Anderson's bullshite. If this fight would have played out where Sonnen pulled something out of his arse at the end everyone would be talking about Sonnen's heart and amazed how he just never gave up.
