M-1 delivered him on a silver platter to Strikeforce at a lower pay than the UFC offered him.

UFC offered to match the contract he had with Affliction ($125k per fight). M-1 lied to Mousasi and said UFC offered 40/40. He trusted M-1 and signed with Strikeforce. Mousasi started hearing rumors that he got screwed so he called Joe Silva. Joe told him what the offer was.

He's not happy about it but is stuck with Strikeforce for now.

M-1 manages him?

He would be a very nice and much needed addition to the middleweight class.

Acutally it would be huge.

Mousasi
Kang,
Sexyama make that division look much better.

How many fights is he signed to with SF?

I agree, but he says he has trouble making 185 now.

It will be there soon. UFC 100 wasn't even close to the marketing campaign that Mayweather vs. De La Hoya had and if it did I'm sure the ppv's would have been very similar.

ETM, I read that Vitor and Franklin agreed to meet at catchweight. 195 lbs

I hate catch weights unless they are necessary. Both fighters have fought at and can make 185 and 205. Pick one.

Agreed. Franklin is now a catch weight fighter I guess.

Really? Guys usually don't have that problem until they're older. He's only 24.

“I have full control of all my contracts and my career. I get financial reports all the time. All contracts and all important issues are discussed with me. Everything that I don’t like, Vadim tries to fix for me. I have full control of everything that is going on…. From my viewpoint, the UFC does not have the proper attitude to fighters. The UFC attitude towards fighters is not a good one. They don’t treat them like human beings. And I don’t like their policy. The offer that we got was one kind, and then on the Internet they published really different numbers. The offer they gave us was really miserable…. There are a lot of people who take the side of the UFC and there a lot of people who take the side of M-1. I think that if the numbers that were published on the Internet were real numbers, we would have signed with the UFC. All the numbers that were published were just rumors…. All the decisions regarding my fights are made by me, then Vadim makes the public announcement. I feel really sorry that my fans won’t be able to see the fight with Brock Lesnar in the near future. But, I know that they will be able to see other fights with great opponents. I would like to stress once again that besides my fans’ interests, there is my personal interests that the UFC didn’t want to meet.

I believe the last part.

You don't think there's a chance Tito was saving face? Tito threw his hat into the Affliction ring and it went away...

You tell me, who does the UFC want more, Fedor or Tito?

Knowing Tito, I was blown away when he said you will never here me mention money again.

Anderson Silva seems much more intrigued with a future at 205 than one at 185, where he holds the UFC title. Twice on Thursday Dana White relayed Silva’s stated interest in more matchups at light heavyweight if he beats Forrest Griffin this weekend, though the Brazilian would also defend at 185 as well.

No doubt they offered Fedor much more. I just think Tito's not going to be bitching right after he signed a contract. I think he's saving face after he fell on his face with Affliction. Wait a year and he'll be bitching again.

Hard to believe anything anyone with M-1 says after the shite they pulled with Mousasi.
