I don't think there are may conclusions to be drawn.
Looking at the Sweet 16, Ark-U Conn in 2023 drew 50% fewer than ARk-Gonzaga in 2022. Is Gonzaga a big name while U Conn isn't?
Tenn-FAU outdrew the game in its window in 2022. Tenn is not a big hoops name, much less FAU. yet they improved the ratings.

It’s been that way forever, but I do feel like games take longer by about 15-20 mins because of how long ads are now.
