10/24 Michigan State (2-4)
10/31 Nevada (2-4)
11/7 @ Minnesota (4-2)
11/14 Illinois (3-3)
11/21 @ Michigan (4-2)
11/28 USC (6-1)
that's a very manageable back half of their schedule even without Nico Iamaleava
11-1 can be had, no doubt
What a freaking job by Chesney

They are 2024 Indiana with an easy Big Ten schedule & will get bounced in the first round of playoffs
However, they could also be like 2025 Indiana in year 2

Yea it was never a murder's row schedule, but preseason they had a top 3 Oregon, and top 15ish USC/Michigan teams.
Not their fault Oregon/Michigan are...not as good as predicted. I think they'll lose more than 1 but they could be 10-2 or something

even without Nico Iamaleava
Nico wasn't really their reason for winning games in the first place, he had been pretty average at best up to the injury, may I even say below average? They've leaned on a strong running game and defense. Losing a starter is never ideal but they weren't really dependent on him for success the way, say, Miss St was with Kamario.

It really is remarkable the turnaround he has made. They are such a deep team on defense and o line. Not many teams can sub out their entire o line and still be productive.

No team from the big 10 would have less than 2 losses if they played an SEC schedule
Big 10 schedules are laughable for most of the teams

UCLA at Michigan in late November has upset all over it
Minnesota will lose a random game then pull an upset like this.

Wouldn't be surprised to see them go 1-2 in those last 3 games. But at some point even with an easy schedule you've got to give them credit.

Yep, good comparison.
They need to find an elite QB for next season to make that jump that Indiana did.
