You just end up with a bunch of teams offering you shitty trades, because they all know you HAVE to move him. Unless there's a less competent GM out there, which is entirely possible, and I guess having multiple shitty trade options is better than having just one shitty trade option.

teams of course will start off low balling us cause they know we are moving a player regardless

if there are ten teams starting off with the same shitty offers, they will become better offers when you play the opposing gms against each other.

I'm not disagreeing with that, but this assumes that Bower is competent enough to do that, and he doesn't appear to be. Our leverage in this position is also severely time-constrained. I just don't see it being much of an advantage. Its not like the trade was a surprise to begin with.

The problem is Chandler must be hurt pretty bad to fail the physical. No telling when we get him back.

I dosent matter Smith and wilcox have both been hurt this year so ill take my chances with tyson even if we dont get him back if/till we make the playoffs
