everyone on the team said they want him. it's not like any of the players threw him under the bus. players don't play for owners or coaches.

Everyone and their mother knew that Chandler was being traded for MONEY reason and not production.

So FAIL.

The only person that should be worried is Bower.

I gotta agree that I don't think this affects Chandler too much.

But I also wouldn't be surprised to see another team come into the fray before the deadline and they waive the physical. Bower will find a way to make this even worse than before.

Its not going to change how cp3 or west plays. Now chandlers just going to be even less productive than before he was traded. great

mo pete would be really hard to move.

i'm really curious to see how tomorrow is going to play out. the hornets will likely make some kind of move. i'm also anxious to see what the trailblazers and cavs end up doing

who cares

teams will know that we are desperate to make a move, so we might be getting a ton of calls, thus giving us options and we can leverage others

A player the Cavs have long been interested is James Posey, who the Hornets got ahead of the Cavs because they offered a longer contract last summer. New Orleans has some depth on the wing and even though Posey is a championship player, it has become obvious their focus isn't all on winning.

If this somehow happened, and we got some guys that expire this year, where would that put the Hornets salary cap wise for summer 09 and 10. Would we be back to being able to sign some people?

(I know how unlikely it is to move Posey)

If anything, teams knowing we are desperate is going to result in less leverage.
