I don't blame the Bills for sitting him in week 17, and if I'm the Bills I'm disputing this as well if he randomly came up injured after week 17 and didn't consult with a team physician once about said injury.
Let's be honest, if they let him play and he tore his ACL, you would all be laughing and talking about how terrible the Bills organization is for losing $27mil on a QB they let get injured in a meaningless game.

I saw a report on the espn bottom line saying he was visiting a specialist last week, yet the bills don't know. What a shitbox of an organization

He should be able to heal from a hernia surgery well before March 11. I don't think he's going to win this case. This type of wording, according to the article, is very commonplace and was done with both Kaepernick and RG3. He'll most likely heal, get cut, and nothing will happen. It'll be interesting if he re-aggravates the hernia injury because then it'll come to whether this is a result of playing for the bills or if the re-aggravation was something separate and individual incident after the season was over for which they're not responsible.
