The Eagles have built their OL for years to be able to execute this play at a high level. They didn’t draft them specifically for this play but it’s an added bonus of having monsters on the OL.

Their QB’s build also helps.

Their RB being Saquon Barkley also helps.

Eagles are playing the Bucs in week 3, I wanna see them try it against Desmond Watson.

Also the bitching about this reminds me of Canadian hockey fans who cry about NHL teams in states with no income tax having an unfair advantage. Wah!!!

Touchback the ball goes to the 35 now, that's a 75% increase in yardage in 9 years.

I wasn’t aware of the teams out there who are intentionally opting to pass on building a powerful Online

Sounds like kamikazi up the middle will be the order of the day.

Hurts starts seeing double, they'll rethink the play.

Does anyone really want to see teams just line up and do this in every short yardage situation because limited rosters don’t allow you to prepare for every anomaly out there? Or is it just muhhh more offense?

blow the whistle as soon as the QB is stacked up.

This is the obvious solution.

As soon as forward momentum stops the whistle is blown and no rugby scrum ensues.

Big difference being the Eagles start there. While other teams spend their picks on offensive weapons, then address the line. Lions are similar.
