do you remember an article in the Times Pic early 2000s about Tulane giving thought to building a stadium somewhere in Jefferson? It was gonna be somewhere between Jeff Highway and the river

I still don't know how they plan on having a retractable roof with a 100 mill budget....unless it's some type of fabric or something

Why do you keep saying this ? This doesn't matter, Tulane owned land or not, they still have to go through ther city and the public will get their say. You are WRONG about this, FACT

Because it certainly will not hurt their cause. If Tulane wanted to build a facilty at say the Butterfly it would create much more fervor and opposition. On Campus is a different story. Tulane owns the property. There will be no displacement of citizens or students to build it. It really isn't hard to figure out.

It will be World war 3 if this is true ! You are looking through green and blue glasses if if have lived uptown all your life to think other wise. I have been dealing with the city and building permits and zoning for over 25 years, trust me, this will be WAR !

Ps: where will 30,000 people park ?

Maybe so. It will also be a large project creating a lot of jobs. If Tulane wants it it will get done. That is all that really matters.
