Dude only missed weight by 2 pounds. I know he is normally a big guy and all. But I have to believe he could have made 170 had he been more prepared. Seeing him at 170.........he wasn't looking like he couldn't lose 2 more pounds. Sucks to see a La. boy get sent home like that though. Probably will be really hard to work his way back into anything like that again as well. .

Great...another Browning.

I'd rather a boring show with just good fights and classy guys. The Brownings/Diazs give the sport a bad name.

i watched a Frank Shamrock inteview this morning. he said he doesn't cut weight. the man is a huge 185 lbs. he says he's always 2-3 pounds around fighting weight. he said this will be the first fight where he'll have to miss a meal.

Dan did NOT look too impressed last night after seeing the American fighters. He appeared to have that FML look on his face.

Yeah, he looked pretty disappointed when the Dollar and Santino pulled off the wins after being dominated. The guy who was pounding Santino looks like he came out for the 2nd thinking it was going to be a walkthrough and got caught with the knee.

I guess it shows they have heart if anything. Hell Amir looked like he was getting his arse kicked all of last season, but he would hang in there and catch his opponent in an armbar.

I like Richie Whitson at 155 and Demarques Johnson really impressed me at 170.

If Johnson is the guy I'm thinking of (I think he was the last fight), you could tell he looked really comfortable in the cage. A lot of the time in these fights, the fighters look figgity and sloppy. He seemed calm and experienced.

It sounds like both Rob and Dent spent a night in the house before they fought. I still say Dent beats him like he stole something.

Can't complain, we have had our fair share of fighters on the show from Louisiana.

Kenny Stevens
Kristian Rothaermel,
Rich Clementi,
Melvin Guillard,
Tim Credeur,
Jules Bruchez

who I am missing?

I think that's it, but I'm surprised JC Pennington never was on. I don't know if he ever tried out or not, but he is much better and more experienced than many who have been on it.

More than Jules Bruchez?

I'll be surprised if Chris Bell from Houston is not on there soon. Have you seen or heard of him? He's real good.

Yea I'd like to JC, KB and Pat Barry in there. And maybe Shawn Jordan in a year or two.

Would be real cool if UFC did a tough with a lot of the younger guys that have had a few fights in the UFC but just not quite got their foot completely in the door, with the winner getting a title shot like season 4. Kyle would be a good candidate for that, maybe along with a few former cast winners.

FWIW, there all amateur bouts. The last guy he fought was most likely his toughest opponent and had real good kick boxing. He kicked Jordan in the ribs and from then on Jordan just got him in the clinch took and him down and just ground-n-pounded him.

He has blew through all of his other opponents so it's hard to judge on good his opponents have been. When he moves into pro I guess we will have a beter understanding how good he is.

He's just been straight out muscling people which he won't be able to do in pro bouts.
