6:00pm
Bowling Green (6-5) at Western Michigan (4-7) - ESPNU

6:30pm
Eastern Michigan (5-6) at Buffalo (3-8) - ESPN2

Eastern Michigan is first up of the 24 teams still vying for a bowl this week. To do they’ll need to win their first game of the year on the road as well as beat Buffalo for the first time since 2014. Despite their 3-8 record Buffalo is a 5 point favorite.

EMU had to go to double OT last week against a bad Akron team so that might be why Buffalo is favored.

Crazy that tonight is already the end of the season for a couple of teams. Season always goes by so fast

Eastern Michigan must have forgotten to pack their road uniforms. This is the only gray against black game I can remember.

Bowling Green is whipping WMU late into the second right now.

EMU up 7-0 in the first.

If G5 teams had a playoff, would we get some good Sunbelt vs. MAC games?

Wouldn't that be 10 times better than the bowl of sh*t Sunbelt and MAC teams currently get?

Only four of the 12 MAC teams have winning records. Why should eight fan bases have to put up with that.

With the additions made to it, the Sunbelt would dominate a playoff at that level. I think it would have before this season too.

No.

A 6-5 South Alabama beat the ever living shite out of Oklahoma State this year 33-7 in Stillwater. That same 8-3 Pokes team is ranked #20 by the playoff committee and just needs to beat 5-6 BYU to make the Big 12 title game which will likely be against 10-1 Texas.

Why the should an SBC team be locked out of the upcoming 12 team playoff when one of their mid level teams can kick the shite out of a P5's likely championship game contender?

How was Buffalo (3-8) a six point favorite over a team playing for a bowl bid?

It was really senseless Buffalo kicking a FG when they were already trailing by 16 points. A TD and 2 point conversion could have made the score 24-16. Horrible decision.

Probably b/c EMU does stupid arse shite like throw passes up 24-11 w/just under 6 minutes left when if they just run the ball they'll kill enough clock that Buffalo has no shot at catching up.

Watched most of this 4th qtr in the EMU game - don't understand how college coaches continue to make so many bad decisions. I think that last first down ended this thing.

Probably but EMU should have been able to have this down to 3 minutes already which would have all but assured it was over. There was zero reason to throw a pass on 1st down on the first set of downs on this drive.

Oh wow. What a way to end your season. They were about to get the ball back and the dude commits a personal foul. Damn Buffalo.

Don't think Buffalo will pull this one out.
