I lol'd. Nah, we're happy with Thad in that respect.
I'm in the camp that feels that it's time for the coach to go. I'm rethinking tickets and spending all those weekends driving up from Virginia for the games this year. I'll probably do it but right now my heart isn't in it.

. ESPN keeps egging people on with their stories which have no new information
Today's story isn't from ESPN if that's what you are refering to. They are simply reporting what a local paper is saying. Also, how can you say what came out today is not "new information"?

Tressel did say yes to the question of whether or not he forwarded the email to anyone else at the press conference, right before being interrupted by Gene Smith.
FWIW

How does him sending the emails to this guy make the situation any worse? This is just an Ohio state bash thread based on a minor detail

Posted on 3/25/11 at 3:44 pm to jacks40
that was just a general statement, of course there is new info, I agree with you.

He gestured he fowarded the emails, he gave a big NOD.

Then jacks40 please explain how this new info will screw osu further than what they are already in

Dude, take your head out of your arse.
His whole press conference consisted of him saying that because of confidentiality problems, he didn't know who to send emails to. So its OK to send the emails to TP's mentor, but still be worried about confidentiality?
How is that not an easy concept to grasp?
Posted on 3/25/11 at 3:47 pm to jacks40
Just fire his arse already. Life will go on.
Posted on 3/25/11 at 3:48 pm to taylork37
So tayloryork will what he said or didn't say at the presser hurt him in the long run with the ncaa?

If the NCAA knew before today that JT forwarded them to someone else and not to them, then no. If the NCAA did not know then probabaly.

I love Tressel as much as anybody, but it's time for him to go. Hopefully Gene Smith and Gordon Gee have the balls to step up and make a decision. You can't let one guy, no matter how much good he has done drag the entire program down.

It's really strange to me how Gene Smith interrupted Tressel when he was asked the question about forwarding the e-mails to anyone. I can't help but wonder if Tressel is taking the fall for the athletic department on this one. It's bad enough for tOSU that Tressel did what he apparently did but if the tOSU administration was in on the cover up then the NCAA is going to
