When there's a thread about a small school, there's always someone who goes in to the thread and quote's the school's name and replies with a "huh" "lol wut" or something like that.

I really do pull for smaller schools to have a plentiful athletic department. Not everybody can play big time sports but still have the passion to play.
It's bad enough that there are scholarship limits in baseball.

$18 million is more than what we were operating with up until like last year.

Funny the perception....Towsons undergraduate enrollment isn't much smaller than lsu. 20,000 to roughly 24,000

Small school in the realm of athletics, obviously.

I was speaking towards non-BCS schools...the non-power conferences.
Points taken though. I didn't realize that Towson is as big as it is.

agreed, but I see this managerial tactic and worse performed more and more, even at church. A new Sr. pastor came in and wanted Sunday School taught to children during service not between services, teachers disagreed, next Sunday there was a retirement party for the teachers with cake and Ice Cream...thats when they found out.

this is where a booster should be able to fund the sport, without it having to become a club sport.
for example, if i'm a hockey fan and want MU or SLU to get division 1 hockey, i should be able to fund everything, but their scholarship$$. Arena, equipment, etc
i'll save the rant on title 9, we have al lmade it!

change title NINE
Why can't they just amend it. I mean every school has women's soccer but only a handful have men's soccer. Title IX has served it's purpose. Now someone needs to have the guts to amend it.

SVP is about to talk about this on the one big thing.

Probably why Bushrod wants so much money from the Saints.
