MLB really should force some of these owners that clearly have zero interest in trying to field a competitive product to sell. Being bad is one thing but this is just dumb

Their payroll is nearly double the White Sox, just spent the money poorly.

It’s not like as visitor friendly as an AL East game at the Trop (RIP) but Denver’s also a transplant city, and Coors attendance this year for how bad they’ve been is insane. It’s hard for owners to feel the pressure when crowds keep coming back and they can say “well, we’re trying!”
