I said during the Illinois away game we'd be lucky to make the tournament

The away game in Assembly Hall is the game that I look to where we made a statement. That was an incredible game.

I'm not fairweathered at all. I've watched any Ohio State basketball game I have been able to since I can remember. I'm just overly critical on Ohio State basketball.

Slightly pessimistic at times? Is that more fair?

Extremely pessimistic. Especially with this year's team.

P.S. LaQuinton Ross didn't foul on Arizona's second to last possesion when they tied on an and1.

Southernelite where you at on that bro? Refs gave Arizona the tie. There was zero (0) contact.

I agree, and this will help his confidence.

This is the first long disciplined team we have beaten in a very long time (that I remember at least).

B1G teams struggle with this type of team(see Syracuse/Indiana) and we held our own. A lot of respect for this team, I had doubts when we lost by 20+ at Madison.

OSU beat the Cuse last year in the tourney, although it wasn't exactly the same rosters of course

Let's just say it wasn't someone I could fist bump with; some guy who looked like he was hungover on the 7:40 pm from LGA to Fort Laudy

JetBlue

Sort of agree with ESPN radio this morning.

That's two games Ohio State won where they weren't the better team.

But that's always been the contention with the tournament and such a format deciding the champ. Survive and advance - and with a little luck and grit any level of talent can win these things. The better teams don't always move on.

They were the better team over 40 minutes and that's all that matters.

Based on the game or the resumes of the teams? On resumes, OSU was clearly better than both and it's not debatable really. OSU has road wins over IU and MSU, neither of those teams can match that. On the game, you could say they both had an argument to win but then this

The better teams don't always move on.

doesn't make much sense

Better team just for that game or better team overall?

There is a difference.
