Good. I hope the whole team feels like that. You have to believe you can win a game, then go out and do it.

You guys will get embarrassed worse than ND last year if Bama of FS loses a game before the end of the season. Sorry.

Meyer doesn't want to play Saban. I bet he would actually prefer if OSU got shafted instead of facing Saban. I'm not even kidding.

I don't understand why people make a big deal about things like this. Players from a team think they can beat another team(s). They're supposed to think that.

Would you really want players from your team saying-"Man, I think they're gonna kill us, we have no chance"?

That being said, I think both Bama & FSU easily beat OSU.

There's a difference between saying, "We'd wipe the floor with them" and "We could definitely hang with those guys" or something along those lines. OSU wouldn't wipe the floor with anyone outside the B10

....but that's not what he did. He said they'd embarrass Bama and FSU not I think we can play with them and win. They haven't wiped the floor of a Top 10 opponent going on 3yrs.

What's he supposed to say, "we would have not chance against Bama/FSU?"

How about "We respect them but we have a very good team too and I would like our chances."

Why would you wipe a field, anyway? As far as I know, that's not consistent with typical turf maintenance.

He's about a 20 year old kid. They don't tend to phrase things in coach speak.

If they played Bama, Urban would turn into "Mr. Coach Klein" from the Waterboy and be scared shitless of Nick.

Kid shouldn't have put out bulletin board material.

Exactly. They struggled to beat freaking Northwestern and needed officiating help to secure that win.. then all the Ohio st fans built up NW to be this amazingly awesome team.. when in reality they had not beat anyone this season and then they proceeded to drop their next two games or so.. to far inferior teams. I find it hilarious that OSU fans talk about SOS when referring to FSU. At least FSU struggles against NO ONE.. FSU is clearly on another level than OSU, as well as Alabama.

No one really knows since Ohio State has played Little Sister Mary's Orphanage and The House for the Deaf and Blind, and really no one else. They very well could wipe the floor with Bama or FSU, but nothing they've done so far should give them any reason to think that.

If Wisky doesn't get hosed at ASU, they have the same # of losses as Clemson right now, and are sitting right around 10 in the polls

Ifs and buts isn't a real argument.

Only in your make-believe world.

And if Stanford didn't get hosed at Utah they'd be #1!!!

see, that was easy.

Good thing, because neither are playing each other.

Coaches aren't out there hitting anyone.

As Paterno always said - it's these players, these great athletes that make it happen and win the game. They deserve all the praise.

Everyone gets so caught up in the coaches.

Exactly, wants the media to give them a reason to play
