How many times are people going to make this point? It’s stupid.

Posts about red herrings and irrelevance. Lol

If you want a 80 year old it’s all yours. Not much competition. But, based on your posts that is real good thing.

I don't know who Fouche is but I am going off data from the World Health Organization as of today.

LINK

4292 - deaths
118,326 - confirmed cases
3.6% - Fatality Rate

I'm not going to try and predict the future on what the fatality rate will be.

quote:

We had over 1 million cases of H1N1 at a little over 2 months from the initial outbreak and affected FAR more age groups BTW.

We've had a little over 1,000 CV-19 and we're approaching 2 months.

By ANY measurement H1N1 affected FAR people and caused more deaths. If we compare the same time frames.

You're going to have to point me to where these numbers come from.

I believe Fouche is Dr. Anthony Fauci.

That is my guess.

Dr Anthony Fauci and he gave out the figure today.

Its gone down steadily and theres no reason to believe that it won't.

LINK

quote:

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) identified the first two A/09(H1N1) swine flu cases in California on April 17, 2009,

quote:

On June 25, the CDC released information revealing that there were more than likely over one million (1,000,000) cases of the disease in the US, most of which had not been reported or diagnosed.[122][123]

Deaths relating to this new strain of influenza began appearing in the US in late April, and by early June 15,

Point is,there was every single reason to believe H1N1 was just as dangerous in '09 but our response was no where near as severe.

H1N1 also affected a far wider and exposed age group LINK

quote:

we estimate that approximately 60.8 million cases (range: 43.3-89.3 million), 274,304 hospitalizations (195,086-402,719), and 12,469 deaths (8868-18,306) occurred in the United States due to pH1N1. Eighty-seven percent of deaths occurred in those under 65 years of age with children and working adults having risks of hospitalization and death 4 to 7 times and 8 to 12 times greater,

That’s an opinion. Not fact.

Adults were shown to have some immunity, especially older than 60.

What we have now is something that attacks the elderly. Hmm. Wonder how that would affect things. Hmm. I wonder who has money. Wonder who votes.

Wonder who watches the news. Who is susceptible to fear mongering.

Only stupid people are arguing this isn’t serious. Literally the biggest mouth breathers with the worst takes across all boards, I did the research. The science is out there, it’s a symptom of the bigger anti intellectual purview of the lower class. Being misinformed and refusing to read anything past TD where they form their own ridiculous assumptions in an ignorant echo chamber is their MO.

They are less intelligent than anti-vaxxers,

Wouldn’t shock me at all if the NCAAT ends up being canceled altogether. It’s setting up as such.

Enjoy the conference tournaments because I think that might be it until November.

If air travel is being disrupted from Europe, 3 days it will be halted here. Just spitballing.
