Another "Fox Mulder doesn't watch the NFL" thread. You are the edgiest, dude. So far ahead of everyone at being bored with it.

Two supposed good teams scored 12 points total in 75 minutes. Just yesterday I was checking the Titans score and they had the ball a few minutes before halftime and on 4 and 2 on the Colts 45 they punted. Turned it off. These teams are all identical in their play calls and are risk averse. The talent is the thing that separates them. That sums up the NFL. Boring unimaginative coaching and playing.

Complain about the original NFL OT rules and then blast ties, brehs. With the sudden death rules, there were two ties over a 14 season span (1998-2011). TWO! There's been four ties over the last five seasons. Heck if there was sudden death, the game would have ended last night after the Cardinals PK made the FG. It's the easiest way to avoid nonsense like last night.
yup. what's funny about this is that anyone who watched the NFL championship game in 2010 needed heart medication afterwards, but peter king, mike florio and a bunch of people who "cover" the sport flooded their readers with the angle that it was unfair and that the ending was anti climatic...i'm convinced roger goodell thinks these fricking guys have their finger on the pulse of the consumer. why? because he knows precisely dick about public relations and marketing. his tenure is proof of that.

The problem with the NFL is that you have to pay a shite ton to watch all of their content. On saturdays, I love to flip between games and watch ALL of the games. For the NFL they only show the 1 or 2 games that are in your area unless you pay 300 dollars for sunday ticket and that's only if you have DTV. They are restricting their viewership by restricting the viewers ability to watch the games they want to watch.
