Seriously? Pretty much ruined this guy's life for sort of going after a foul ball that 5 other people were going for. And then the Cubs still had another game to lose.

Watch "Catching Hell". Amazing stuff.

Just look at all the footage and documentaries.

I have a documentary that interviews people immediately after that game and a big majority said still had our chances hopefully we win in 7. Many said they wish he wouldnt have got in the way but they would want the ball too and that it chanhed momentum....and thats walking out the stadium beflre they even saw a replay of it all.
Yes people around bartman were mad at him..drunk 100 years of frustration make people react in a moment. Tv that kept showing bartman holds no responsibility.the announcer blaming bartman initially holds no responsibility.
Cubs fans are wanting bartman to throw out a first pitch so they An apoligize for the idiots of the group.
But people holding a weird grudge against a whole fan base is much more logical than a night of reaction of a few after a loss.

How those harris death threats going anyway?

Honestly I blame Moises Alou more than anyone. If he doesn't react like a lunatic then Bartman doesn't get it nearly as bad.

Not sure how any one would read that as a justification.

I just find it curious that you single out Chicago as the only place something like this would potentially happen.

cubs fans are the worst, in any sport

trashy, foul mouth, and not so tough guys.

go to a few games, and u will also rank them as the worst. Always such tough guys in numbers.

Do you really find it curious that he "singled out" Chicago, the place that it actually happened and didn't single out another American city where something of this magnitude has never happened?

Best thing may be for them to get the curse stuff over with soon and become evil empire so we can make fun of the bandwagoners like the Red Sox attracted.

Some of us actually enjoy their failure

Sure you won't be a Cubs fan after?

I guess that's why I'm asking you to come up with a similar circumstance. What other city has a 100 year championship drought and had a fan-related incident potentially cost them a chance to advance?

Let me ask this: can you name an example where a similar incident happened in another city and the fans were decent?

Yeah, they brought the NFL atmosphere to their baseball games.

Ever been to the bleachers at Dodger Stadium? Wow, talk about gangsta paradise, i thought Sean Penn and Robert Duvall were going to come in and make a drug raid during the 7th inning stretch.

I hope the Indians smoke the Cubs if the Cubs don't choke away the NLCS.
