And what happened to all the American Boxers??
As a kid they called poor Gerry Cooney the "Great White Hope" ....
then that title went to Tommy Morrison
WELL what happened to Deontay Wilder? Fair to say " Great Black Hope"??

I grew up w Mike Tyson; George Foreman; Holyfield etc??
Now in 2025 it's just Club level fighters.
I mean Jake Paul is talking about fighting Anthony Joshua (not American)

I honestly think ESPN views the WNBA as a lottery ticket right now. They’re promoting the shite out of it. I just don’t see it becoming anything bigger than it already is.

Honestly I think they're all playing basketball and football. When team sport contracts exploded, volunteering to get punched in the head for millions suddenly didn't sound so good.
However, if the reports that Usyk grossed $132 million JUST for his fight with Dubois are true, that should get some American kids' attention.

When I say “boring” not as a fighter. He’s just all business. I grew up in the 90s when the weigh ins were just as wild as the fights.
In the ring he’s proved he’s at the table with the greats. 2x undisputed can’t knock that at all.
