Barry was a much more productive pro than Thurman in all relevant categories, I never argued he was better than Barry but to be a two-time all-American completely upstaged by Barry in college makes completely zero sense. Both were just great players.

He was and anyone who watched that oSu team knew it

Sanders had benefit of year older team. If you were picking which one to play you take Thomas.

On pure talent and speed Mike Gaddis was better than Sanders. If he doesn't shred his knee we talk about him as god.

Billy Sims is best RB to ever go to college in Oklahoma

The 5 best RB I have seen live in person for college

1. Billy Sims (Orange Bowl and vs oSu)
2. Earl Campbell (Vs Arkansas)
3. Bo Jackson (Liberty Bowl vs Arkansas)
4. Eric Dickerson (Vs Arkansas)
5. Mike Rozier (vs Oklahoma)

Billy was a great college AND pro player, one of the few shining lights for Detroit pre-Sanders. Maybe somewhere WAYYY down the line he might be inducted into Canton(since Sayers and Davis were inducted after only being productive for four seasons, Sayers' Bears accomplished less than Detroit in the early 80s).

You can almost guess the ages of the voters based on the top 5. Not a homer, but I swear Tyrann Matheiu was the most impactful player I'd seen since Ed Reed. If not more

ost. Your reading comprehension skills need work.

I was replying to a specific post in which you said those 3 guys had better careers, the stats do not support that no matter how much you want to move the goalposts.

Derrick Henry was also a bit of a one hit wonder, but his 2015 season was better than Fournette's 2015

Not really LF avg 15 more ypg, that's quite a bit.

He was able to play more games because he didn't have a penchant for disappearing in big moments (the opposite actually).

This just exposes you as a petty Arkansas fan taking shots at LSU and a classic case of backlash against a player due to media hype First of all LSU had 1 game cancelled due to weather. Play that game and LF is well over 2K for the year. The other 2 extra games Henry played were the SEC CG and NCG and that's because he played on a better team. He racked up big yardage in games late by getting 40+ carries. He was good but a classic compiler.

What about Deion creating the ISLAND or Ronnie Lott deterring WRs from going strong across the middle?

Lott was a Corner at USC. Dennis Smith was the head hunter on that team.

I want to add McFadden to my top 5 but just can't. He was damn good though.

McFadden may be the best RB of the 2000's in the SEC. He meant more to Arkansas than Fournette meant to LSU.

That secondary was LOADED: Lott, Smith, Browner, and Jeff Fisher and Lott was even solicited for running back on that team

Yeah and he broke records in one season whereas Thurman had the longevity, they were both remarkable in their own individual way I'm not downgrading Barry with any of these posts shamone

I be shocked if you could find 1 legitimate source that would say that

Sanders had the best single season in the history of the sport, that's not because the line was older.

quote:

On pure talent and speed Mike Gaddis was better than Sanders. If he doesn't shred his knee we talk about him as god

You are clearly trying to be a contrarian for the sake of it. There are a million "unicorns" that would have been the greatest if not for injuries. Hell Michael Brooks would have been better that Lawrence Taylor and Randy Livingston would have better than Jordan

Billy Sims is best RB to ever go to college in Oklahoma

Just quit, he's not even the best to go to College in Norman Oklahoma

You are trolling to think Sims was not best in Oklahoma history

You can try to say Washington but it isn't Dupree
