all I am saying is that Dallas is not a top 5 team at the moment. If they would have beaten pitt, of course it would have changed things since they ARE a top 5 team.

Ronnie, I am not talking shite here....Dallas has prolly the hardest final three games to finish a season ever.

they will deserve it if the get in....but 1-2 to finish out is very possible for them.

They wont get in at 9-7

no, they outplayed pitt for 55 minutes, theres a difference. they choked the game away, they didnt get beat.

its so unfortunate that they stumbled without romo

the rams game just haunts me

1. The F'n Giants
2. The Steel Curtain (even though their offense totally sucks)
3. The Ravens (another dominant D with a shitty O)
4. Philadelphia (solid D; solid O when it's healthy)
5. Tennesse Titans (Top 5 D makes up for the offense which is in the lower third of the league)

I believe a healthy, confident Dallas team can beat any team mentioned above including the Panthers and the Cardinals. The only reason that Dallas is not listed above is that they are theoretically a top five squad on offense and defense, but we haven't seen them function without key losses to each unit. The really shitty part of my list is that Dallas has to play three and has just lost to the fourth on my list.

I hate to say it, but I'm going to have to wait for the new digs for Dallas to get to the big show. I hope I don't have to wait for the SuperBowl to be an actual home game before I get to see them win it again. It was such a looong time since I was in Texas Stadium watching the Triplets beat the Packers before leaving for Arizona, that I actually have negatives for those photos.

Comparing college and NFL doesnt work imo.

8-5 in the NFL is good....8-5 in college is pretty shitty.

Of course LSU was better last year, they went 11-2 and UK wnet 8-4 or some shite.

I think if we played them again they would have beat us though.

Before LSU got lucky as frick, and backed into the MNC game, I was praying we didnt have to play Hawaii in the sugar bowl because we couldnt stop the pass at all.

Luckily OSU sucks and is completely overrated.

I think Chaz listed philly top five so he could whine about how dallas is fininishing the season with 3 "top 5" teams.

Yeah Philly is not top 5. I don't know how they continue to get love year in and year out. Their window has been shut for a couple of years now.

because Dallas' O and D are theoretically better than theirs. Actually, they are ranked ahead of Dallas in both departments. Check their stats, bro. With our passing game disappearing for 4 games, we can only speculate that our real team is better than theirs.

"GFY, Nobes" -stout

for the record, I have never whined about anything in my life. Right now, Philly has the 7th best O and the 7th best D in the NFL, and only the Giants are rated higher on both offense and defense.

The steelers and the Titans have suspect O's. Steelers: 24th and Titans: 18th

Defense wins championships, but you've got to have some weapons on O to win the big one these days.

The Colts are statistically in the bottom half of the league in offense and defense, but they do have Manning, which is pretty strong...not strong enough to put them into the top 5.
