I don't know about that. I think he's probably right behind Williams and Paul.

I guess you could argue for Nash, Kidd, and Billups. I would put Parker 3rd after Paul and Williams though.

You could, but you'd be wrong. At this point in their careers, he's quicker than all three. And he has more rings than all 3 of them put together.

He lead the league in steals, no? He has very good D for a PG IMO.

On Pauls defense
quote:

Remember, during the 2007-2008 season, the Hornets gave up 6 more points per 100 possessions when he was on the court than when he was off, and this on-off differential on defense was by far the worst of any player on the team.

How many more did they score while he was in the game? I'm guessing the tempo is increased and a lot more shots are taken while he is in.

Probably cuz when he is on the court the play a much more up tempo game and when he is not they slow the game to a crawl.

How about you show some your expertise here.

Pay attention, we are talking about his defense.

Howard can't score like Ming

21 and 14 are crazy numbers but 15 of his 21 come off dunks. He only have one weapon; his dunk(shot).

You didn't see much of Dwight towards the end of the season. He's starting to hit the jump hook consistantly and he's got some spins and drop steps in the post. He's added something every offseason so far and I expect next season will be the same. He'll go for 26, 15 and 3 next year. He'd be a 30 and 15 guy if he could hit a free throw.

it doesn't matter if all howard can do is dunk. often, nobody can stop it

howard needs to stop turning the ball over and learn to pass out of the post first.

You ever see Loyola Marymount play back when they had the Hank and BO show? They had a shite ton of points scored on them all the time. Guess they must have had shitty defense.

Defense will allow less points when the offense holds the ball for 23 seconds every time down the court Einstein. The two are not mutually exclusive.

For an expert you sure are failing.

I forgot Paul was the only PG who pushed the tempo.

Is that why is PER against is among the leagues worst too?

More shots = more offensive rebounds on the same possession. Probably enough to make up 2 or 3 shots in a 100 possessions.

Actually Paul is probably one of the better rebounding 6 footers out there.
