This is one of the worst ways I've seen to do a top 10 of best programs. Win %?

So tcu had a "better" program than LSU without winning 2 NC and playing in another?

Yep, TCU has shown how dominant their program is since they entered the Big 12. They went from winning 11 games a year, to losing seasons.

Which has almost nothing to do with increased difficulty of competition and almost everything to do with the product on the field going to shite.

I'm not saying this is THE way you should do it by. It's just a different one.

I completely forgot about Ohio State and Penn State's vacated wins. Thing is, Penn State had 0 wins in the 00s when adjusted for vacation of wins.

1930-1939 Bama 79-11 85 winning percentage is number 1.

I know you went from 70- 79 & 80-89 etc etc like all these guys do, but if 2000 is the last year in the 20th century and 1900 is the last year of the 19th century, then decades can't be 1900-1910, 1910-1919 etc etc but must be from 1901-1910 , 1911-1920 , 1971-1980 etc etc.

But I get that's the way everyone does it.

Bama fans are seriously retarded.

quote:

1960's 1. Alabama: 85-12-3 .865

Yeah no shite. Boise State schedule.

Bama was 2-11-1 OOC against non-sec teams from 1965 to 1973.

They sucked arse!!!!!! Against non-lily white Southern Country Club football.

Let me get it through your head...the SEC was considered shite-arse football until the 1990's.

It was considered segregated - weak and out-dated.

Florida brought you back.

And from 2006 onward you dominated.

But nobody - except shallow minded people - ever considered the SEC top football until the 1990's...and even then - it was just Florida...which is why you were considered weak.

SEC national - (news flash SEC fan) - wasn't considered awesome football in the 1980's and 1990's...LSU sucked arse and most other programs in the SEC did as well in the 1990's.

And the SEC was nothing more than a bullied pulpit in a white Southern league for Alabama in the 1960's.

NO ONE TAKES YOUR RECORD SERIOUSLY IN THE 1960's - YOU PLAYED NO ONE!!!!!!!!!!!!

And when you did - you lost!

And especially not the 1960's or 1970's.

You weren't playing an equal playing field.

And especially not the 1960's or 1970's.

You were Boise St. vs. nobody. You didn't play week in and week out against the best athletes of the day - and when you play them - you usually LOST!!!!!!

You lost. You lost. You lost. You can't claim any crap about being the best program of the 1960's when you consistently lost to the real best programs - who cares that you had an awesome record in Apartheid SEC football? What a joke.'

Congratulations Bama...you are the Country-Club Football Champions of the White 1960's in the SEC.

Oh go ahead.

I love revisionism.

But Southern football was considered sub-par in the 1960's and 1970's - gained some momentum in the 1980's but still smirked at...

It wasn't until the late 1990's and specifically now - that it gained a real foothold as a football power conference.

That's real history.

Alabama's real history is about now...and what happened recently and an 80's title - everything before is bunk.
