Nobody said he's bad. He's a fine analyst. He is perfect for the 3rd team on Fox... Not the #1.

I do think he talks too much but who does everyone think is “good”?
Just the networks lead analysts (no play by play or secondary analysts):
Herbstreit- meh?
Aikman- still seems completely disinterested in most of the games
Olson- kinda bland
Romo- does talk too much but at least he has some personality
Collinsworth: has personality but expresses himself by having an orgasm for one player over and over in a game
My point is, I get the complaints about him talking over games too much, but I don’t think he is by any means bad and worlds better than some of the alternatives. He replaced Phil Simms who was audio propofol.
