Battle for the #1 seed in each conference? Pshhhhh.
MVP debates? Mehhhhhhhhhh.
People talking about magic numbers? Who cares.
The REAL race is the race to the bottom, and mercy, it's a tight one. Just three games between 1st and 5th place right now with about 10 games to play. Lots of things to admire at this end of the standings. In a show of pure commitment to the cause, Memphis lost 19 straight games. PHX recently let Quinn Cook score 28 points in a meaningful NBA basketball game. Dennis Smith Jr is missing "some games" with a "not serious" injury. Everybody is saving their best basketball for the most important time of the year.
Here's where we stand now. May the ping pong balls fall in your team's favor, or completely ruin your life if you're a Suns fan:

If Dallas wanted to tank, they would play smith.

Would like Ayton and SGA/Sexton and Robert Williams with the other. My preference would be to take Ayton and package Chriss with picks for Aaron Gordon.

No, take Ayton with the top pick. Then package Chriss with 15/16 or Chriss with future firsts for Gordon. Magic seem unsure if he and Isaac play well together.

I hate how the Pistons can't ever get to tanking properly. Never good enough to make playoffs/or go far, and not bad enough to get a top 5 pick
