tOfficial NBA Draft Lottery Thread (5/15 @ 6:30 CST on ESPN)

We’ve reached the point of the season where Golden State has crushed any remaining hope other teams have and ping pong balls are on the verge of deciding the fate of several franchises.
Miserable fans, this is our time. Now is the time we are allowed to have hope (Unless you’re PHX and you’re going to fall to #4 no matter what or you’re Sacramento and you’ll probably screw your pick up regardless or you’re Brooklyn and you are indebted to Danny Ainge for the next 84 years).
There are so many compelling scenarios. Boston could end up with the #2 overall pick. The Sixers could end up with the #1 pick. As the Cavs look to remain a threat, they could end up with the #1 pick, a compelling asset for possible trades. Then you have all the teams at the bottom of the standings who worked so hard to get there. Will their dedication to tTank be rewarded?
May the odds of this sweet Slovenian prince saving your team ever be in your favor.
Oh and here are the odds:

I'm wearing my timeline shirt to work tomorrow, knowing for a fact we are falling to 3 or 4. I also have prepared my soul for the Lakers pick to jump PHX. Maybe I should just wear the signed Brandon Knight jersey the Suns sent me to really make myself dead inside.

I ran two simulations on tankathon. Suns fell to #4 in both. On ESPN I ran it and the Suns fell to #3 and #4. We are so screwed.

It depends on who goes number 1. But yeah, there are a handful of teams who will take him first. He's the best prospect in the draft imo

What is Doncic's game supposed to be like? I saw a bit of Ayton, and he looks like a dynamo, but you'd need to pair him up with a really good guard.

I can't see Ayton not averaging a double-double, but his defense leaves so much to be desired. In the right set up he's going to be special.
I can't see a team picking top two be disappointed with either guy. Fit wise I'd rather have Doncic. I also think his game is very unique and special.
