Today is world giraffe day

I’m thinking they are the most shortchanged animal in the mascot world. They are kind of cool but I can’t think of 1 school that has them as a mascot. Bulldogs, tigers, eagles all over the place but no giraffes, what gives. Hangover giraffe scene is the GOAT

I've always thought they should go LSU Kangaroos but I like your idea better. Give the Giraffe purple spots and it would be pretty original.

Giraffes aren't ferocious or powerful and they're not local or special to any place in America. That's pretty much all animal mascots

Arkansas at Monticello's Boll Weevils
But the best mascot in the United States belongs to the Rhode Island School of Design's Scrotie
The basketball team's slogan is "When the heat is on, the Balls stick together."
At hockey games their fans chant Go Nads Go!
Their cheerleaders are called the jock-straps, because they are their to support the Nads.

I think I'm more surprised that an Art and Design school has a basketball team and a hockey team.
