The 5 ft. 8 in. Tszyu is taking on 6 ft. 5 in. Fondura in a title fight this Saturday in Vegas for the Super Welterweight Title.

I'll take Tszyu in this one, even though the shorter guy and giving up 9 1/2 inches in reach.

Fundora's last fight saw him getting KO'd by Brian Mendoza when Fundora for some reason decided to fight the guy like they were in a phone booth. Fundora got chopped down in 7 and took his first loss, by KO. If he fights the same way against Tszyu, he may be stopped earlier.

I'm not a big Tim Tszyu fan and he's not near the gracious champion his father, Kostya Tszyu was during his career often being very abrasive and dismissive of his opponents, but I think he's got this one.

Didn't see the fight but did read about it a little while ago when I logged on. Seems it was a pretty good fight with both fighters suffering damage enough to make it a bloody affair with Tszyu sustaining a bad cut on his forehead early in the fight and Fundora having a broken nose and cuts inside his mouth giving him issues most of the fight also.

I'm certain these two will meet up again since it was a split decision win for Fundora and sounds like it was a hell of a fight.

I didn't get to watch because of the Bama game on at the same time.

I disagree with your opinion. Tszyu is the throwback kind of fighter boxing needs. The "fight anybody, anywhere" type of mentality fans love.

I hate this setback for him. I certainly hope Fundora gives him a rematch. Tim can hold his own against anyone at 154. Him vs Spence would have been a fun fight.
