well, only david duval should be able to compete with Tiger then.
Steroids did wonders for his career.
Personally I don't think he is on hgh or steroids. He just has access to the best trainers and nutrition money can buy.

Woods had an injured knee and had to have surgury. It could be that like Andy Petit, he took them to "help the healing" process.
I don't think he's a bad guy, but the definition/mass that he has put on, the timeframe, and his success afterwards...all lead me to question his use. Of course he could have just thought it was Flaxseed oil.

21 to 31 years old is a good time to start weight training to add mass. hell he may not have even peaked yet

You my friend are a damn idiot. That is the nicest way I can put it. You really must not know a damn thing about golf and have never actually watched Tiger play. The reason Tiger is so much better than everyone else has nothing to do with his power. There are plenty of guys on tour that hit the ball alot further than him and even in recent years Tiger has played more irons and 3 woods off the tee to position himself better than he did before. He is a smarter player now and he is a much better ball striker. I do not believe HGH can improve your ability to work the ball different directions and control your iron distance like he does. Also the other thing that sets him apart is his putting. Please explain to me how being on HGH is supposed to improve your putting?? He probably hit the ball farther before when he was skinny because muscle mass has very little to do with how far you can hit a golf ball. Its more flexibility and hip rotation than arm size. Actually learn something about golf and about Tiger's legendary work ethic on the course and off before you start spewing bullshite trying to tarnish his greatness.

you also forgot tiger woods mental perception is what sets him apart from the guys who can drive and hit it just as far.

no.
but i dont see why he would take it. after 35 he may even gain a few more pounds just simply because his metabolism will slow and will have fully developed old man strength (ligaments and tendons).
im 26 and i just started to develop more tendon ligament strength and i can tell a difference than when i was 21. but if you havent worked out over half your life those are some thing you will never notice.

Tiger did hit the ball further when he was skinnier, he was able to get more rotation on his swing thus he was able to strike the ball faster.
Strength has nothing to do with how far you can hit a golfball.
Also hitting a golf ball far has nothing to do with the game of golf or how you are able to perform on the golf course. Maybe in long drive competitions.

actually strength does have part of a role.
because strength is a part of power.
power is the amount of force you can exert divided by the amount of time.
absolute strength isn't necessary, but starting strength and speed strength would be good.

"strength has nothing to do with how far you hit the ball"
-Retard
That being said, Tiger's strength is between his ears. Every player on the PGA just about can hit a perfect ball, but every time Tiger addresses a ball he THINKS he is going to. The average score of players almost universally goes down when Tiger is in the field. His mental strength is unreal, maybe he is taking mental HGH

its a different type of strength because you are still exerting a force when you begin the swing.
same thing in track when you start off the blocks you need a great deal of strength/force that you exert in order to get off the blocks. but of course the heavier you are the more force you have to exert than someone who is of smaller size.

that was pretty rantarded. As was YoungMC's rant, but I'm too tired to rip on it right now.

Strength helps, but it isn't a necessity.

no, but the best do hit it far. But it helps just as much to hit it high and stop it on the greens. Tiger can stop his low irons on greens because he can hit them far AND high. Because he's strong. Also, strength helps you hit out of lies that weak people can't. Strength is a huge advantage in golf. If you don't hit it far, you better hit it perfect and be able to putt your arse off that week.

By strength, I meant muscle mass. To drive the ball 300+ yards, you need strength but not necessarily need large muscle mass to have "strength" in golf.
