I wasn't offended by it, I thought it was hilarious. Especially after the whole truth came out.

The Media has been pushing for forever for Tiger to have a rival and right now this is the closest thing to it. Consequently for the next few weeks, both will probably be asked adnauseum about it.

And whats to say that there wouldnt also be alot of golfers who feel the same way Steve Stricker feels about Tiger? But how dare we think logically....

I don't think Tiger did it on purpose, because he felt that Sergio had already hit, Sergio felt otherwise. But if Tiger did it on purpose, here is why Sergio would have been right to be upset.

The crowd is at a PGA event to see great shots by great players. Somebody in the thread earlier said they want to see Tiger hit 300 yard drives and make eagles. So naturally, when Tiger pulls out a fariway metal for his second shot on a par 5, the crowd will get excited and start shouting encouragement for Tiger to reach the green in 2 on a par 5. It would be a similar reaction if Tiger was playing a driveable par 4 and he pulls out his driver on the tee.

Last weekend was not Tiger's first time to play in front of a gallery.

That's ridiculous. Tiger is a golfer, not a marshal. His job is to play golf, not control the crowd.

Why doesn't Sergio reach out to Tiger? Why is this all on one person?

Tiger is a POS/temper tantrumer. Plays great golf.
Sergio is a whiner/temper tantrumer. Plays mediocre to good golf.

Sergio could come out in SUCH a great light and make Tiger haters panties wet if he said "I called Tiger and told him that I am sorry I went to the media and for the confusion it has caused. I was upset at the gallery making noise but I now know that it was on accident. See you next tournament Tiger."

Instead, he spouts off to the media more.
