Seriously? Overreact much?
ETA: Will be 8 first round exits in 9 appearances after this series.

I get your point, Jumbeaux, but that is a popular basketball cliche.
Also, can a person be "subconscious"?
quote:
unconscious (comparative more unconscious, superlative most unconscious)
Not awake.
She lay unconsious on the floor.
Without directed thought or awareness.
My sudden fright was an unconscious response.
(sports) engaged in skilled performance without conscious control.
1998, Charles Rosen, The Cockroach Basketball League, page 144
Sam is unconscious, filling it, drilling it from every conceivable angle. Lem is awful and Cooper seems confused. Josh shoots too often.
1999, Joseph Leininger, Terry Whalin, Lessons from the Pit: A Successful Veteran of the Chicago Mercantile Exchange, page 10
"I was unconscious," the basketball player gushes. "It seemed like everything I threw up toward the basket went straight in."
2002, Alexander Wolff, Big Game, Small World: A Basketball Adventure, page 292
Someone who has reeled off a string of baskets will say, "I was unconscious," as if he were following the Zen injunction to be mindful while suspending thought.
Synonyms
(skilled performance without conscious control): in the zone, on a roll
Also, can a person be "subconscious"?

Nah bruh, its 'unconscious' in this context

No, when someone is doing something so well that they don't even have to think about it they are doing it subconsciously. whomever you learned that from was wrong, he's not blacked out.
I know the difference between "subconscious" and "unconscious," but as the others have said, this is basketball jargon.
Say someone's "subconscious" when you're out hooping and folks will look at you funny
"Unconscious" it is

Barnes with the exclamation point.
I think Golden State finishes this in Denver. The Nuggets look deflated.

Yeah, cliches don't have to make sense.
Seriously, though, Jumbeaux, you've never heard that on a court?

Randolph finally making an impact for the Dubs

Good lord that was a weak tech

Weak technical fouls there.

Yep Nuggets have completely fallen apart. This could've been a sweep if Miller hadn't had a huge Game 1.

Also, I'm lurking a Denver Nuggets forum right now and they want him gone.

They have no answer when GS starts shooting.
Think they might have thought GS would be deflated after the way Denver beat them at the buzzer in game 1. Not the case at all.

All we needed was that one stop on the final play.

Now that was really freaking fun, Dubs.

Another first round exit for Karl and the Thuggets.HAHAHA

Maybe I heard it and put it down to people not knowing the difference. Which is likely where the saying got started for basketball honestly.
