Why would the refs help a tiny Catholic school with almost no alumni or fan base even in Philly?

The refs were horrible in the Winthrop game I agree. The Florida game in the second half was brutal too lol.

Thats the thing
Mount St. Mary's is going to be out there scrapping and fighting and getting no help. Even though it doesn't matter, its still ridiculous

Mount St. Mary's will be in the game at the 1st media timeout
Coming out of the timeout they have a player drive to the hoop, get fouled multiple times and mauled as he goes up for the shot at the rim, no call, Villanova rebounds and sprints out to the other end, commits a charge on the guy who is defending but it gets called a block, and the shot is good and Villanova sinks a free throw to begin the run to put Mount St. Mary's away before the 1st half is even over

I'll never forget the year Purdue almost lost as a #1 seed years ago. Dang shame the won that game. They were horrible. Got smashed the following Saturday I believe.
