3rd lowest ERA through 10 starts in MLB History.

2021 Jacob DeGrom 0.56
1966 Juan Marichal 0.59
2026 Shohei Ohtani 0.74

He currently has an OPS of 0.941 which is #3 in the National League

.301 avg
.420 On base percentage (#1 in the NL)

He has by far the lowest ERA and batting average against among NL pitchers and is tied for the lowest WHIP (officially he is one inning shy of qualifying but come on)

Batters who face Shohei are hitting .144/.224/.211

What an absolute unicorn of an athlete.

Ohtani also has hit double the amount of HRs (10) as Earned Runs Allowed (5) this season

Ohtani has 111 total bases. Ohtani has allowed 44 total bases.

Wonder if the Bambino ever pulled this off.

I doubt it only because his best pitching seasons were with the Sox while he really didn't start raking at the plate until he was with the Yanks.
