Wrong.

Twitter. Social media. Volume is indicative of interest.

It will fail because they are putting a product that nobody wants.

Based on...?

We haven't even seen TV ratings from week 2 yet. That'll tell more than game attendance.

And can I get some sort of results on what kind of reaction/volume the XFL is getting on those platforms?

That’s a weird take.

Not really. Unless you also believe there are 40-something college bowl games because they are well attended.

Will it sustain viewers? I hope it can stay as a thing, but it’s honestly terrible football. It’s NFL rejects, and people that just weren’t good enough for the league.

Yes really.

Each one of those teams draws local fans and local tv.

And it is a bowl game. Comparing that to regular season is stupid.

It’s not only a weird take, it is horrible.

The XLF drew 75% less than the inaugural XFL 19 years ago.

You hope terrible football survives? Why?

Most of us can use a break between the nfl and college training camp.

Because it lets people who weren’t good enough for the league make a living play football. And I’m fine with people enjoying things

Melt.

TV ratings will save or doom the XFL. Sorry you're too dense to understand that.

The Washington Times noted that while the XFL debut numbers are nowhere near the 16.5 million viewers that the NFL averaged per game during the 2019 regular season, is does top the 1.99 million viewers per game that the NBA averaged last year during the regular season.

Subjective. Some enjoy it. Why do you care if they do?

Then don't watch it.

I never said I wanted it to fail. But it will fail. New leagues don't make it. People are stuck on the NFL and college football

Well, so far after two weeks, the evidence doesn’t support you, so there’s that.
