A lot of fans whose rosters have taken a down turn due to NIL and the portal will continue to whine because they now actually have to outscheme and fight for recruits and still end up with more losses. But for the average fan of an average team it’s been an awesome season.
What I really enjoy is watching former powerhouses continue to lie to themselves and fire coaches which put them in 10’s of millions in the hole or overpay for players and still not making the ACC Champ game (see Miami).
Kirby and Day are the only 2 powerhouse minds with a clue. And that clue is to coach your butt off. Meantime, everyone else is using the old formula of believing a magical coach and throwing money at 19 year olds is gonna magically turn it around.

It’s been a pretty good season. Obviously, it’s not the best (this board based on your downvotes can’t seem to grasp the difference between “best” and “one of the best”… nobody is saying it’s better than 2007, which btw, was when current college freshmen were infants, and Marcus Freeman was a starting LB for Ohio State…), but it’s been pretty fun.
