there’s bad calls, and then there’s this

LINK ref standing 2 feet away with a clear as day view of the play. you’re telling me they couldn’t find better refs for a frickin championship game? i have no dog in the fight but this has me heated after how they escaped auburn on a bullshite no call

Yep terrible call. How do you feel about the previous Texas Tech possession where the guy stood in the lane with the ball for 6 seconds before scoring? Two horrendous calls, or in one case non-call, that canceled each other out.

i just want to see more transparency in sports man. i understand missed calls is a part of the game but obvious shite like this should NEVER happen

Oh so now we’re talking about the entire game? I was just responding to your post about a bad call. I was just making sure you weren’t being a hypocrite and could admit that Texas Tech was given two points by the officials on the previous possession, just like UVA was given two points in a bad call.

of course they missed a call or two in techs favor, happens to every team every game, but if you can’t see that it wasn’t lopsided even a little bit tonight you’re out of your mind. you can’t possibly sit here and act like either of those calls in the videos were good ones

No one plays a perfect game and no one refs a perfect game. This culture of reviewing the tapes for every missed call after a game is over is getting riduculous

This will always happen unless you have sensors and lasers to go off for fouls. Humans cannot be perfect.
It’s so lame to be the guy to go to twitter to complain about stuff like this. There’s bad officiating, terrible officiating, great officiating, etc. Nothing stuck out tonight.
I could slow the entire game down and start seeing fouls left and right that weren’t called.

All you have to do is go back and watch the replay. All 3 were still on the other side of the court. The ball was hit past halfcourt off a rebound. At the time the ball was hit, one ref was on the baseline and the other two were on opposite sidelines just above the arc.the two closest refs didn't even have time to get on the other side of the court before the ball was knocked out of bounds. All they could see is the backs of the 3 players.

Then they have to consult with Gene Steratore so he can suck the refs dicks and tell us what a great call they just made.
The extended reviews are killling the game.

I hope Virginia orders a few extra rings. Those guys in the stripes and on replay review sure did give them every chance to win the title.
