Theo is very impressive. I read where he is heavily involved with the minor league system. He reads all notes from his scouts, and is up to date with every player in his teams minor league system. Basically, every person on every team associated with the Cubs is there for a reason. All he does is reads and crunches numbers.

dude has put the franchise in a hole with the terrible trades.

Trading for Samardazja. Then having to trade Samardja and getting a weak haul
Even his recent playoff teams have been pretty weak, but overall in the last 10 years the A's have been irrelevant. their farm system is pretty weak.
