“in baseball history, 2 teams have been shut out at least 6 times in their first 16 games”

1907 brooklyn superbas*
2024 chicago white sox

*not a made up team

The MLB record for getting shut out in a season is 33. The Sox are on pace to shatter this.

Only 2 players qualified and neither have an OPS above .500 or AVG over .175

I've seen first year expansion rosters with more talent. I know Robert is hurt and it's the AL Central and it shouldn't be hard to win... but there are Triple-A teams that would be more fun to watch.

Their best 3 hitters are all injured.

It would make more sense if you made this comment with Eloy or Moncada. I think only two players made more appearances for the Sox than Robert last year.

Not that it matters. This team was doomed to be a laughingstock this season, even with all three healthy. I don't know why I've even watched as many games as I have. It's a soul-sucking experience.

My friends and I are planning on going to Windy City Thunderbolts games this summer instead since Bobby Jenks is now the manager.

Dave Van Horn laughed at former Hog CF, Dominic Fletcher. He congratulated him on the trade and said he'd stay for a while because they were so bad.

I've traveled watch the White Sox the past three seasons. 2021 in Houston, 2022 in Minnesota, 2023 in Chicago. I thought about going to Cleveland when the eclipse was happening, but I have no desire to watch that pathetic team. Ended up going to Seattle to watch the Mariners last week instead.

The Braves have lost games to both the White Sox and Marlins. Baseball is funny.

Just bet on the other team winning every game?

It's ashame how quick they came down from the high of that team a few years ago
They were really good that season with a lot of good young talent
That front office ought is a bunch of idiots for only getting one year out of that team
They had the best starters in baseball

unless you are referring to Matt House, I’d tread carefully on this one jmo

personally I’m rolling bigly with the White Sox tonight (for a variety of reasons) and am doing so without much hesitation.
