Paul could be decent, Opelka is just another Isner.

And he basically did in that 4th set. Idk maybe the pain pills kicked in toward the end of it and into the breaker. Tennys getting really tight helped a lot too

Hard to fault a guy for going for the win, but he really needed to play solid and let Roger lose one of those match points.

Anyone else up? Hoping Raonic can keep it close at least, but I can't see him breaking Novak.

Yea I’m still watching Novak - Canuck missile. Milos is hanging tough thus far.

Joker finally converts on his 9th break chance and takes the 1st set 6-4.

Was looking at Novak's worst matches for BPs converted and didn't realize he went 0/12 vs. Federer once and won the match.

Novak breaks early in the 2nd... that should do it.

Looking forward to Fed/Joker odds.

Roger +420 for now.

Djokovic has to be thanking his lucky stars that Stan is on the other side of the draw. I don’t see anybody else with much of a shot at beating him in this tournament including Nadal and Federer.

I clicked on this thread at what must have been a few minutes after the match finished and wondered what was going on because Yahoo or some site was showing it as in the fourth set. 7 MPs? Was this one of the epic chokes?

Considering Fed was doing nothing notable until early in the 5th, yea Tennys choked pretty hard. Fed wasn’t moving, his ball striking sucked, and his serve had nothing on it.

I think it's fair to say he choked.

Fed needs to do some Floyd Landis drugs and come out possessed.

At this pace he may set some sort of record for unforced errors per shot attempt. Hopefully the person in charge of deciding what is forced or not is kind to him against Djoker.

Djoker/Fed semi now -695/+565 on 5dimes

Rolling with both dogs tonight:

Thiem +245 vs Rafa
Stan +130 vs Sascha

Same here, along with many other Thiem plays.

Also have him +700 runner up. Winning two matches then losing to Joker is way more likely than that price I feel.

Agreed. If I had to pick right now I’d go with Djoker over Thiem in the final. Really like Thiem’s chances if he can get past Rafa, regardless of whether he plays Sascha or Stan in the semis.

This is just brutal. I feel a bit bad for Kontaveit. Hope she can win a game in this set to avoid the bagel.

She got her game, but wow that was rough. Less than an hour. Good for Halep though, she is a good player.
