Miami used to be awesome and I guess the location is still cool. But, it just seems like a slow, humid shiteshow overall that has been overtaken by IW. I think it was Murray and Ferrer could barely move in the final a few years ago.
I really want to go next year when they relocate, even though it's going to be in a parking lot. Stephen Ross should put some nice touches on it.

Dammit Tennys, I need you to win.
Our 16 year old sensation had to pull out of Miami with a twisted ankle. Bummer.

The players hate Miami, and it is horrific compared to Indian wells
Mike was telling me their car was 30 mi utes late the other day picking them up form the airport, and the practice court they reserved from them at 8pm at night didn't have lights.....
Also, the players lounge barely has any tables or space to eat

I sprinkled Estrella at +600.
I'd characterize it not as a play on Estrella, who has hardly been setting the tour ablaze, but as a play against Stevie, who is in poor form and shouldn't be -900 against anyone in the top 150 not named Mikhail Youzhny. (aka "Mikhail Youzhny's rigor mortis'ing corpse).
ETA: In fairness, he fricking runs shite in some Chinese Challengers. On the Chinese Challenger Circuit, he's the GOAT. No doubt.

Osaka destroys Serena
I saw that coming. I never even checked odds, which I'm actually annoyed about, because I imagine Serena was the slight favorite, which would have made that a fREE MONEY proposition.

eta: Fritz at 11:20. Dude couldn't make the main draw at the AO, then has gone 15-4 since and moved his ranking up to 71. Nice.
Gotta give some props to Paul Annacone. PA gets noted for his coaching prowess for having worked with both Pistol and Smug, but that doesn't tell as much about his low-level coaching chops as it does about his ability to skillfully manage top-flight players who necessarily come equipped with top-flight egos (and I'm not dismissing that skill, just saying it's a different skill than teaching a guy the right way to play for his skillset and that of the guy across the net).
Also, you totes jinxed him.

Osaka was about -160 I believe. She’ll probably end up favored over Svitolina tomorrow too.

This had potential if it was almost anyone else in the top 150. Dude is so bad at non-Quito events that he shows up every year in Quito and barely makes the cut for the entry list, even as defending champ. And that is one of the least popular 250 events.
Now Mannarino as a dog vs. Stevie in the next round is surprising.
Funny you mentioned Youzhny because I think he might get a W today. That would be strictly a Muller fade though. Muller couldn’t even win matches on fast indoor courts recently, and that’s where he has made his living.

Aga is a little Euro whore, I love her. I don't think I can post the pics, but she has such a tight body in that SI photoshoot from a few years ago.
Oh, and if that's the asian chick from tennis channel, she's gorgeous.

Djoker just lost to the enigmatic Benoit Paire. It really might be over for him. I haven't seen him, but people are saying he looks like he has AIDS. He has always been skinny/limber, so it must be bad.

Fernando Verdasco posted a picture of him and Djokovic on Instagram after practicing in Miami. Djokovic looks terrible and his eyes are vacant.

Saw a couple games and it’s just sad. Errors on routine balls and he just looks weak. The worst part, to me, is seemingly no fricks given and no fire. If he’s not pissed or even surprised that he’s playing at this level, it’s not a good sign.

Well that was disappointing. Two losses in a row for Fed.
