The UM / WMU clock fiasco reminded me of the Texas / Nebraska 09 clock fiasco

Atrocious

That was actually close. This is way, WAY worse.

But tonight’s game meant less

It's closer to the 1972 Olympic Gold Medal game in basketball. Time expired and the Soviets got extra plays.

That was actually ambiguous. If anything, there does seem to be one second.
I’d argue that the clock in the Michigan game had been on 0:00 for a whole second past 0:00.

This one's so blatant that you can rule out incompetence. It's corruption.

The only comparison I can think of when Arkansas got fricked against Auburn a few years ago. When Bo Nix clearly fumbled but the refs said he was "spiking the ball."

That ball clearly landed out of bounds with 0:01 on the clock. In the Michigan game, the ball wasn't dead for at least 1-2 seconds after the clock hit 0:00
Even 5th down wasn't this bad, at least you could argue that was simply a mistake

You know you can pause the highlight you posted with 1 second showing on the clock and see that the ball has already bounced on the ground?

I know most people here were born in 2010 but the call in 2009 was correct

Musburger called it. The ultimate arbiter.
