Sure buddy, you researched the 1935 bowl season if this was a college paper you'd flunk for plagarism

He needs to define the "south" the down period in the SEC coincided with the up period at Miami and FSU

Really? Why don't you follow this LINK right here and tell me what I stole other than the years that the Sugar Bowl, Orange Bowl, and Sun Bowl began? As a History major who has written a lot of papers in my time in college, I can honestly say that you have no idea what the hell you're talking about. You don't have to cite sources if you're giving specific dates of important events. You cite sources when you copy passages and summarize ideas made by historians, diarists, or other authors.

without a doubt. the 80's were amazing for miami, mediocre for SEC. Interestingly enough, Independents won 6 of the 10 national titles of the 80's (miami-3, penn state-2 Notre Dame-1. WAC-1 SEC-1 ACC-1 and Big 8-1)

I would like to hear your opinion on what the Top 10 most important bowl games in history are. However, I'd probably end up laughing too because I can assure you your list would be shittier than mine.

It was rather clever, he inserted his squad as 3 of the top 5 and then neglected other squads by cuttin' in pasting in the 1935 bowl season and a Washington State team

YOu know whenever Peej calls your list out for being shitty, you have a monster list of suck. Or is it a monster list of right, considering Peej is rarely ever right?

The Voice of College Football's Final Game - Rose Bowl, January 4, 2006; USC vs. Texas

Great game, not historically important except in the minds of deluded Longhorn fans. Since that game Texas has been to only two BCS games (beat Ohio State, lost to Alabama). After 2009 Texas has managed to lose games to the powerhouses known as Iowa State and UCLA and has seen Baylor (who spent most of 2010 and 2011 trying to avoid relegation to the Southland Conference) have more Heisman Trophy winners.

Awesome game, so I'm not sure what Texas did after this game really matters.

I would include Florida beating Ohio State was an important game that announced a new world order where The SEC had returned to glory and the rust belt schools would not longer be able to compete due to how the aging population base in the north hammers depth due to a dwindling recruiting pool

be a good one. tennessee FSU would be a good one too. 1st bcs and all.

Here's an obscure one that wouldnt make my list but is interesting nonetheless.

1984 holiday bowl. BYU becomes the only midmajor in poll history to win a poll title, beating 6-5 michigan in the holiday bowl.

edit- i dont count army because they had an influx of players due to world war 2.

The Sugar Bowl where Penn State (the first true mid major) finally won Joe a National Championship with a victory over Hershel Walker's Georgia after being denied four times in the polls and once on the field

***pre-paterno penn state was not a powerhouse***
