Perkins of the C's got called for 3 quick fouls early on in game 7

Overall I think the game was called fairly and the C's just had a better game 7

Fail, considering 17 came in the third quarter alone.

You're only proving my point by showing this. You know that right?

Taking Perkins out helps the Celtics .

My main issue is that Rondo was even allowed to play.

You backed yourself into a corner and that's the best response you can come up with? Seriously?

You post stats implying the refs favored Team B over Team A to refute my point that the NBA inluences the playoffs?

A point which I showed by saying the refs favored Team A over Team B.

Thanks for helping me drive the point home that the NBA is in the business of entertaining and making money over actual basketball.

so lemme get this straight:

one game the NBA wants Team A to win
the next game they change their minds and decide they want Team B to win.
and then so on and so forth...? strange.

i personally believe using a one game, one nba finals statistical sample to claim "that the NBA is in the business of entertaining and making money over actual basketball"

...seems somewhat silly, dont ya think?

this thread has been successfully hijacked lol

Rondo should definitely have been ejected/suspended but regardless, Chicago had the chance to take the series and still lost

one game = $$$
two games = more $$$
three games = more $$$
four games = more $$$ etc. etc...

More games, more TV revenue.

More TV revenue in one year gives the NBA more negotiating power to up the price on TV contracts in following years.

Hadn't taken economics yet huh?

No conspriacy needed. Just business.

now, it sure would be silly to allow teams like the cavaliers and lakers to sweep their first round series.

referees who officiated during those games must most definently be getting sanctioned by the nba. how dare they not "fix" the series go to 6 or 7 games.

The Bulls blew a game at the free throw line. There's your series. Blaming the refs is for pussies.

I assume everyone pushing for Rondo to be suspended is too young to remember 1990s playoff basketball.

I smell your vagina from Louisville, KY.

I particularly like your overlooking the Koshi Waza Judo throw from Noah on Rondo, or the "errant" smack to the head by Miller on Rondo knocking him down.

Get a pad and pon to stop the flow, take a Midol, and crawl in bed to watch the Bitch channel on Cable. Stop watching the NBA, or anything related to sports for your own good.

LOL.

It has been proven recently, for everyone to see, that the NBA was rigged, yet people get up in arms when they watch a series, and wonder where this goofy officiating is coming from.

Did the ref scandal teach anyone anything?

I detest the NBA, but I watched part of game 7 because of Big Baby/TT matchup. I knew when I turned on the TV, I was probably watching a set up. Either way, it was a nice form of entertainment for a few minutes, then I moved on.

My point? If you KNOW something is rigged, just take it for what it is worth and move on. There are more important things in life than NBA basketball.
