This, and the fact that most of his "clutch" putts are now coming from 15-20 feet instead of 8-15.

His biggest problem is his 125> game has been terrible the last few years.

Oprah interviewing a mute will get more viewers than this will on the weekend.

Well we do have the PGA Tour event this weekend. The rookie that won last week had another great round yesterday.

Tiger was using a putter today that had a Ping grip on it. Not sure what kind but they showed a close up of him reading a putt and I laughed about how the ping grip clashed with all his Nike stuff.

That's the worst shot I ever remember seeing from Tiger wow. Not as bad as that guy who hit the massive duck hook when he was in contention at that major last year on sunday. Anyone remember the specifics?

Jim Furyk?

It was on that ungodly long par 5 16th, that they actually moved the tee up 100 yds or so I think

Furyk hit a really bad shot, but it hit a tree and came backwards. If not for the tree, Furyk would have just been way left. Tiger didn't hit anything. He chilli dipped a drive that went about 150 yards before stopping SHORT of the fairway.

I'll keep watching since I have:
Rose at 17/1 to win
Stenson at 25/1 to win 5.5/1 top 5
Dufner 25/1 to win

All still with a shot

Be honest, we haven't seen a shot like that since Jim's duck hook.

I just listened to an interview with Andy McFee the European Tour rules guru. He said the rule that resulted in Tiger's DQ is the same on all pro tours. I'm surprised Tiger hadn't been exposed to it either on his ball or the ball of a player he was scoring. Oh well, it gives him more time to practice for San Diego.

I remember when Tiger knew all the rules and used them to his advantage. Really I think he doesnt care anymore.

Did Tiger claim to know all the rules? That would be surprising. I've seen instances on the PGA Tour where even Mark Russel, the Tour rules guru, would have to consult with his colleagues on an obscure situation.

Can someone give me a run down of the rules violation?

He hit a shot into desert vegetation and it plugged. He thought he was entitled to relief and Martin Kaymer agreed. They were both wrong and Tiger had a stroke penalty added to his score.
