The Falcons and Broncos are among the teams putting out feelers to Richard Seymour. I expect more suitors to develop

I saw that. Its so vague, it means nothing

They could be talking about "done" for any amount of time ad this is after numerous reports saying hed be back.

Patriots told him to see what he finds on the open market and then comeback like everyone knew they would

I think they bring in Amendola and let Walker go.

Jermon Bushrod's deal of $35.965M over $5 years includes $17.715M guaranteed. Bears spent where it counts: Protecting Cutler

Cutler should be a little happy to have some sort of help upfront considering he's been beaten and battered his entire career at Chicago.

Bushrod as allowed more hits& sacks on his QB than any free agent OLineman the past two seasons.

Amendola is looking for a similar contract and is a health risk. Plus i think the Vikings are about to pony up for him

The Saints pass it 500 times per game though. I expect Bears to run more and for Cutler to get rid of the ball faster.

theres no way this doesnt improve the bears. even if bushrod only plays at slightly below average level, thats still a huge improvement.

prob overpaid, but oh well. had to make a move, and jake long would have been way more expensive with twice the question marks.

Per a league source, it’s a six-year, $67 million deal that replaces the last year of Harvin’s rookie deal, at $2.775 million in salary.

Thus, the total average is $11.16 million. In new money (i.e., $67 million less the $2.775 million over five years), Harvin’s average annual haul is $12.845 million.

He gets a $12 million signing bonus, paid in full by the end of 2013 in a state that has no income tax.

The base salaries are $2.5 million in 2013 (fully guaranteed), $11 million in 2014 (guaranteed for injury for now, fully guaranteed on fifth day of the 2014 waiver period), $10.5 million in 2015, $9.9 million in 2016, $9.95 million in 2016, and $11.15 million in 2017.
