The other thread is just a jackoff fest for fans of teams that missed the postseason.

Trade rumors, offseason news/moves can all be dumped below.

Interested to see what becomes of the Russell situation. Surely more will unfold in the offseason.

I can understand the frustration of talking that much shite and still only playing 2 more games than the rest of the league.

A lot of Joe Maddon smoke. Not sure I understand why. But there are certainly some that think he's a large part to blame for losing Morrow and Strop.

First order of business - Fire Chili Davis.
Second order of business - Give Tyler chatwood a blank check to leave and never come back.

Fire Chili Davis.

On board.

8th in NL in runs scored after the All Star Break. That shouldn't happen with this group of hitters, regardless of a healthy Bryant or not.

Also on board.

What does Darvish do? Is he able to just come back from that disaster? Getting Morrow back healthy will be nice

Holy shite.

Guess I'm not surprised that the cardinal fans have shite for brains.

The positives here are that the Cubs are still, even three years after their first run, a pretty young team, with core players under club control for a few more years.

Hitting was obviously atrocious, especially down the stretch, and especially in big situations, which was supposed to be a strength of Chili Davis

If J Hey truly loves us, he'd opt out.

Who are some FA bullpen arms?

Time to look at trading Happ and Schwarbo.

What happens to Addi? I'd rather Machado now, over Bryce.

Should be an exciting offszn

We have got to get rid of Schwarber and get something back in return for him IMO especially if we make a run at Bryce Harper.

Hopefully we can resign Murphy, use the club option on Hamels, drop Chatwood into an ocean.

Eh... if Morrow was so fragile, he was going down regardless at some point.

Strop call was rough, but I don't think anyone was thinking about an injury at the time. Honestly not that mad.
